In this modified ‘School’ safety sign in the Lower Shankill estate, a mother and child with Orange Order collarettes go to school (under the watchful eye of the trio of UFF, UYM, and UDA boards seen in Loyalist Lower Shankill.)

The new Museum of Orange Heritage in Schomberg House opened at the end of June. It features a stained glass window with the words “faithful unto death”, commemorating the 330+ (counts differ) members of the Orange Order who were killed during the Troubles.
The museum is at the south end of Cregagh Road; the advertising hoarding is on the Upper Newtownards Road, east Belfast

Cut-out boards in the shapes of the red hand of Ulster (both left and right hands!), the five-pointed orange star (usually purple) of the Williamites, the crown of the British monarch, and King Billy on his steed line the fence along Bute Park in Ballybeen, Dundonald.
Also included are images of the nearby bonfire on Davarr Avenue, festooned with election posters for Martina Anderson, Nuala Toman, and (from Alliance) Anna Lo.

“Moss side” is probably Scots, with “moss” meaning “marsh” or “(peat) bog” (DSL) and this mural is appropriately on Ballybog Road (in Dunmurry), “bog(ach)” in Irish meaning “soft (ground)..
In the mural, “QFB” is Queensway Flute Band – they used to have a mural in Seymour Hill – and “LOL 136” is a lodge in the Derriaghy District (Fb). It’s not clear if there is a specific referent for the dolmen in the centre.

These republican boards are probably all post-Agreement placards in Derrybeg, Newry, even though the 3-in-1 figure combining the RUC, Orange Order and paramilitary is a design that goes back to the ceasefire period (e.g. M01166) and was seen previously in 2001.
