The main panel, of three IRA volunteers with raised weapons, was painted by Sean ‘Conker’ Connolly, based on the poster below. Also on the wall are a Tricolour, “Sinn Fein/Gerry Adams” and a small board at the top with a raised fist and the slogan “Unity is strength”. Westrock Drive, Belfast.

Don’t keep building say the people of South Armagh” (referring to British Army installations). “Saoırse Ceart Síocháın”/”Freedom Justice Peace”, and a hand-painted “Tıocfıadh Ár Lá” and Tricolour and Sunburst flags on crossed pikes, with an armalite. In-progress image of what would become the Loch gCál/Loughgall mural in memory of the eight IRA volunteers who were killed in an SAS ambush during an attack on an RUC base in 1987.

Painted by Mo Chara Kelly and inspired by the work of Jim Fitzpatrick.
