Brigadier John McMichael

“Murdered by the enemies – 22nd December 1987. We forget him not.” The South Belfast UDA/UFF commander was killed by an IRA car bomb in 1987. In addition to organising a team of assassins in the 70s and 80s, he founded a Political Research Group and wrote two documents proposing an independent Northern Ireland.

Free John Brady

Real IRA volunteer John Brady was arrested in 2003 and charged with possession and returned to prison in 2004 and in September 2005 – the time-period of the flag above – charged with the attempted murder of an RIR officer in 2002 (IndyMedia). (The case, based on DNA evidence would collapse.)
