Three loyalist emblems in a row in Bond’s Place, London-/Derry. first, the crest of the city of Londonderry – “Vita, Veritas, Victoria”. Second, the insignia of four loyalist groups (UFF, UDA, LPA, UDF) in the quarters of an Ulster Banner shield. (See Sans Peur Fountain, Sans Peur Percy Street.) Third, the insignia of the UDA, present in 1985 along with a King William.

Here is another instance of the ‘masked skull’ design produced by prisoners in Long Kesh (according to Mo Chara Kelly), seen previously in Britains Death Squads. This version is simpler: it does not have any writing and there is no UDR emblem on the UDA-style hat. Beechmount Avenue, Belfast.

Two images of a mural on the Whiterock Road, Belfast, celebrating the Easter Rising. A soldier raises the Irish Tricolour while trampling on a Union Flag on a broken mast. On the right hand side are the Easter lily and halberds/pikes and an assault rifle, indicating the past and present of the 1916 revolt. In the background is a poorly drawn GPO.
