Concerns were raised that it would stifle the “freedom of assembly” (Guardian). The bill was dropped after the Orange Order voted against it (BBC). Chamberlain Street, Derry.

The prisoner in question is Martin Corey, member of Republican Sınn Féın and allegedly involved with the CIRA. The graffiti (and RSF stencil) is at the top of the New Lodge Road, Belfast.
