The hand of Ireland catches the hand of Britain in the act of ripping a tricoloured Northern Ireland from the island of Ireland. Blood drips from the severed six counties, as well as from the British limb.

In 1987, 20 surface-to-air missiles missiles were part of the shipment confiscated from the trawler Eksund. In 1988, it was reported that a shipment of arms from Libya to the IRA included such missiles. Springhill Park or Ballycolman, Strabane. Next to Onwards To Victory.

Village William
The longest-lived King William mural in Belfast, dating back to 1932, was at the junction of Rockland Street and Donegall Road, in the Village area of the city. It would survive a few more years before the building would be demolished.

For nine years, IRA man Joe Doherty, a native of the New Lodge, fought extradition from the United States. Doherty had escaped from Crumlin Road jail while awaiting trail on three counts of murder. He was eventually deported in 1992. (WP)
