CS Lewis (1898-1963) was born and reared in Belfast until age 9. He was wounded at Arras in WWI and studied at Oxford after the war. He is most noted for work in Christian apologetics and children’s fiction, especially The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe, written in 1950. This wall
