Frederick Hugh Crawford was a British Army officer in the Boer wars, Ulster Unionist councillor, and architect of the Larne gun-running in 1914. The dates on the mural are 1913-1916 (rather than the war years 1914-1918) – if you can explain this please comment or get in touch. The flute band does not appear to have an on-line presence.
